I have worked with Chris for over 2 years now and he has helped me completely transform my golf game.  He has an unbelievable understanding of the golf swing but more importantly can translate higher level concepts into simple feels.  His ability to communicate in the language of feel is what has inabled me to go from an 8 hcp to a + 1 without getting bogged down in thinking mechanics and allowed me to make significant positive changes while preserving a sense of athletisicm.

I have worked with and known Chris Como for 5 years.  I have had the fortune to work on my game with several Top 100 teachers and Chris’ knowledge far surpasses any of theirs.  While under his  instruction I finished second in the Texas State Mid-Am Match Play Championship, set the USGA 9 hole scoring record with a 29 in the US Mid-Am, and became only the second amateur to ever make it to the Final Stage of the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament.  His simplification of the game and matching the instruction to each players capabilities is what separates him from the rest.  It was with his help that I truly progressed as a player to be able to understand how and why the ball reacts as it does.

Chris helped me play better the very first day and we have begun a process of making me into a great ball striker.  Chris has the best understanding of the golf swing of any teacher I have ever seen.   I think this is the case because he never just accepts a theory as being true.  He studies it himself and tests it against what the best ball strikers of all time have done.  He develops a long-term plan for his students and makes sure that they understand what they are doing and why they are doing it.  Chris is more than just a teacher; he is a great coach as well.  It’s not all just about the mechanics of the golf swing.  It’s about practicing efficiently, maintaining a positive attitude, and learning how to shoot the lowest number you can every day.  Chris has helped me do all of these things and I am confident that he can do the same for anyone who is committed to improving.  I believe that Chris is the only teacher on the planet who could have saved my golf game. In my opinion, he is simply the best there is.

I was lost in the desert, literally, lost in the Nevada desert looking for my golf ball. For a high stakes gambler, let me tell you, that is NOT where you want to find yourself while in the middle of a big match.  But that is exactly where I was, and I knew I needed help.  From the mid 70's to can't break 90. Lessons weren't helping and lessons from big named teaching pros weren't either.

I had to get help and I had to get it fast. It was crunch time; "get better, and fast, or quit".
That was two years ago. I'm still in the game. And all the credit goes to Chris Como.  Never before had I worked with an instructor that has the patience, knowledge, and teaching ability to set me on a path out of the desert and back to the fairways.  Thanks to Chris my golf has improved an my golf games are harder to find.
